The HQ can be upgraded with features, these features provide interactive experiences, from learning more about the ghosts you are investigating to boosting your own characters skills when investigating while it's your active HQ.
You can also move to a new HQ building, this is primarily aesthetic and may, or may not act as a resource sink too.
The possibility of going to haunts in other countries is very much on the table too.
