# Trait Previews

Building Blocks Of The Ethereal Individual

Ghosts will generate with a set of random and set traits, these define their personality and behavour, explained here [Personality & Behavior](/project-apparition/ghosts/personality-and-behavior.md).

When we are ready to show the game in its alpha stage to the public we want to keep as many details close to the chest as possible to allow for a more fluid process of discovery, but we also want to let you know a little, so you can get an idea of what we are trying to acheive.

Most ghost traits will have something that will anger the ghost, something that the ghost will approve of, and a behavior mechanism.

**Performer**

Performing ghosts love to put on a show, they feed off being the center of attention and will use their ethereal powers to make that known!
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="info" %}
**Trickster**

Ghosts with this trait really like playing mind games with the living, and most of the time not in a nice way. They thrive on scaring mortals out of their skin, sometimes it can feel like they really do!
{% endhint %}

**Childish**

Childish ghosts just want to play around, they are very proactive, and they look at you expecting a play date, be sure to react in kind, children are not known for their patience, nor are -some- adults!
